P-1A Partek is used to locate cracks open to the surface in porous materials, such as unfired clayware, concrete, and certain fired ceramics.

COMPOSITION

P-1A Partek is a green fluorescent material in a petroleum base.

PRECLEANING

The parts to be inspected must be free of grease, oil and dirt, and dry (free of water) prior to P-1A Partek inspection. The precleaning can be accomplished with solvents or water based detergents. If water based detergents are used, the parts must be rinsed with clean water and thoroughly dried.
